  Develop confidence through drills that strengthen brush handling and consistency. You’ll gain control over your washes while learning how to balance pigment and water ratios.
• Color Theory & Mixing:
  Dive into the logic of color: primary, secondary, and tertiary hues; complementary schemes; warm vs. cool tones. Learn how to mix your own browns and grays with subtlety and richness.
• Glazing & Layering:
  Build luminous depth by layering transparent washes over dry surfaces. Learn how patience and planning create contrast, and harmony in your paintings.
• Wet on Wet & Wet on Dry:
  Learning how to apply and blend paint on wet paper to create organic, fluid color transitions—versus painting on dry paper, where blending is more controlled and happens gradually as you go.
• Building a Composition:
  Plan your painting in layers, from loose background washes to refined final details. You'll learn how to guide the viewer’s eye and create balance and depth.

  Study the work of great watercolorists and replicate their brushwork and techniques to sharpen your artistic instincts.
